I honestly cannot rave enough about my love for Virgin America for domestic flights. I was already a big fan of Virgin Atlantic and although they are two completely separate companies (although the brainchild of Sir Richard Branson, due to US laws he does not own more than a 25% stake in the company) No worries though, you still get the same excellent service. If you must travel economy in the US, the only way to fly is through Virgin America –period. Although the hubs are limited, they are expanding with time. Living in Los Angeles, Virgin America flies to all the major cities that I travel to including New York City, San Francisco, Seattle and more. The prices are comparable to other carriers and often times even offer better deals but you also get so much for your money. The seats are clean and have more of a new feel than many other American domestic airlines, there is full service entertainment (_cough cough_ some domestic airliners only offer you a few in-flight magazines), internet service is provided through GoGo, the food that is served is quality (not your typical airline fare) and the sleek design and “mood lighting” make for an all around comfortable flying experience. The airline currently hubs between many major cities such as San Francisco to NYC or LAX to NYC etc, but there are plans to expand with plans of up to 30 destinations in the next five years. So sit back, relax and travel in style on Virgin America.www.virginamerica.com
