The Erwin Hotel is a Classy Boutique hotel of almost fictitious proportions. I was greeted in the lobby by a quirky and eager professional representative, and promptly escorted to room 621. The room was equipped with all the normal amenities that one has come to expect from a quality sea-side hotel, and some extra bonus items such as complimentary sunglasses for when the sun wakes you up. The first and best thing the room has to offer is an enormous balcony which over looks most of venice beach. From the balcony you can see basketball courts, skate boarders, sunglass vendors, and street performers; I found the view from the room was much more interesting than anything on the 42" flat screen cable TV, which was mounted on a emerald green wall. The Erwin hotel is central to many famous landmarks of Venice beach such as, the venice beach canals, and the abbot kinney shopping market. I found my stay at the Hotel Erwin very acceptable, it's the perfect hotel for a weekend rendezvous or a lavish holiday getaway.
