As a local San Francisco mommy of a toddler I know firsthand how much getting out of the house and doing fun stuff means. It’s imperative that we get out everyday even on rainy days in San Francisco to get all of that toddler 2 year old energy out! The Randall Museum offers youth and adults opportunities for active involvement and recreation in an integrated program of arts and sciences. Focusing on the cultures and environment of the San Francisco Bay Area. The Museum strives to inspire creativity, curiosity, and appreciation of the world around us.
The Randall Museum houses changing science, art, and interactive exhibits. Permanent areas of the Museum include a live animal exhibit, a woodshop, art and ceramics studios, a lapidary workshop, a 188-seat theater, a greenhouse, and gardens.

The Randall Museum is open to the public 10 a.m. to 5 p.m, Tuesday through Saturday. The museum is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
The Golden Gate Model Railroad Club’s train layout is open Saturdays only from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The building is also open selected Sundays, Mondays, and evenings for scheduled classes, clubs, performances, and events. Please consult the individual program listings for times and locations.
The Randall Museum is closed on the following legal holidays:
January 1, New Year’s Day July 4, Independence Day November 11, Veterans Day Thanksgiving and the Friday after Thanksgiving December 25, Christmas Day

Nutcracker Under the Dome runs nightly from November 20 through December 31, every half hour from 5:00pm until the Centre’s closing.
