Walk into a Revolver Salon in NYC and you'll leave with two things: Great looking hair thanks to an elite team of stylists and barbers, and a clear head thanks to a de-stress-ifying rock environment at this attractive salon located in the heart of Soho. As the sister salon to infamous beauty emporium outlet, Ricky's, Revolver was designed with the store’s young, downtown clientele in mind, and it specializes in fast, affordable cuts and “crazy” color. There are two locations: a two-chair studio in Ricky’s 13th Street store and a larger salon on Crosby Street, at the back of Ricky’s on lower Broadway. The five-chair salon’s playful décor feels just right—a two-tiered chandelier made of gold spray-painted hair dryers; portraits of real Ricky’s customers in all their pink-haired, tongue-pierced glory; and a D.J. booth are all present. Revolver is brimming with cool, downtown style and the stylists are not only skilled but friendly and unpretentious. Not the silver-spoon style you'll find at an uptown salon or the "what decade is this?"
