The Casablanca Hotel is like an oasis of luminous Moroccan glamour and hospitality in the heart of New York. Located just steps away from Times Square, the hotel is a perfect base to get around major New York sights. How convenient! Several big museums such as the MOMA or famous department stores such as Barneys and Bergdorf are only a few blocks away. The intimate European-style-family-owned boutique hotel is inspired by the romance of the movie “Casablanca”. From the staircase to your room, you’ll see everywhere Moroccan sculptures and art. My highlight, the complimentary wine and cheese reception between 5PM and 8PM in the living room with a piano player interpreting jazz standards. There are numerous books on the bookshelves that are just waiting for you to pick them. After a hectic day in the Big Apple it’s all what you need. Sit and relax, just as if you were at home.
