Ca Gottardi is a quant, boutique hotel in the heart of Cannaregio of Venice, Italy. This hotel has a wonderful vibe where the caring employees make you feel right at home in this beautiful city.

The rooms are decorated in the classical Venetian style reminiscent of the 18th century Italy. The rooms are red and gold with elegant wallpaper, a comfortable bed, and pretty curtains which make you feel like royalty. The rooms are also equipped with a nice flat screen TV and complimentary internet. You can also relax in the nice, comfortable lounge with a book, listen to music, or watch TV.

The dining room is beautiful and take advantage of the nice patio during a lovely Venice morning by enjoying it with a delicious Italian espresso. Ca Gottard and their caring employees make you feel like your part of the family when the manager greets you a “buon giorno” (good morning) and serves you a delicious espresso or cappuccino to begin breakfast and start your day the Italian way. There was a delicious assortment of neighborhood pastries, fresh meats, eggs, fruits, and much more for breakfast.

The hotel employees like Luca make you want to stay longer as they are so friendly, warm, and caring. I really enjoyed my stay here and they genuinely are great people. As it was my first night in Venice and first night in Italy ever, Ca Gottardi’s hotel employees really helped me navigate this confusing, maze of a city. Venice can be quite confusing navigating around the city as it is like no other place I have been to before with a labyrinth of streets and network of beautiful canals.

The location is great near amazing restaurants, shops, and close to a vaporetto (water bus) or indulge with your sweetheart in a gondola if you prefer. The area is close to many popular destinations like Piazza San Marco, Gallerie dell’ Accademia, and a short vaporetto ride to islands like Murano.
