The room I stayed in was huge. There were sliding glass doors leading to a large garden patio -perfect for a little get-together with friends. The decor is very ‘pink’ and stays in the tradition of the rest of the palace with a bit of a Barbie doll-like character, but still very tasteful. The mini bar was temptingly stocked with munchies, beverages and some beauty supplies. I could have basked in this luxury forever, but opted to take advantage of the most beautiful sundown Beverly Hills has ever seen with a quick dip in the pool.
The pool at The Beverly Hills Hotel is a sight to behold in itself. Since the hotel is located right smack dab in the middle of Beverly Hills and all of it’s lush greenery, it truly seems like the skies are bluer over the hotel. The pool itself has seen many of Hollywood elite -past and present come and go you can easily imagine Marilyn Monroe or Natalie Wood basking in the sun at this very same pool. As the sun said good-bye to the city, I ordered a Pina Colada and soaked it all in. Heaven in Beverly Hills.
With the rumble in my belly telling me dinner time was approaching I bid adieu to the lovely, iconic pool. Parting is such sweet sorrow!
