Located in Jardins, the wealthiest neighborhood of São Paulo, Figueira Rubaiyat (opened in June 2001) is owned and perfectly managed by Belarmino Iglesias Filho who also own the celebrated Baby Beef Rubaiyat barbecue restaurant.

Under the enormous branches of a magnificent 100 years old fig tree is served a superb variety of food as salads, meats, paellas, pasta fish and mouthwatering meat thanks to the great chef Francisco Gameleira.

Fancy and cozy…glamorous and slightly rustic at once the atmosphere of the place seduces in equal measure Brazilian power players, beautiful couples, big families and international elite (Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Riccardo Tisci, Quentin Tarantino are just a few of the aficionados ).

Among the countless highlights are the Brandade of Bacalhau (traditional Dried Cod), Treasure Chest (octopus, scallops, shrimps, squid, fish and Carnaroli rice and the Traditional Brazilian Feijoada served every Saturday.

King of the menu for the meat lovers is the Baby Beef Kobe served with soufflé potatoes. An outstanding dish that shows the heritage of Rubaiyat and the excellence of the cuisine at once.

Not to miss at all costs is the wine list. One of the most varied and sophisticated in the whole Latin America, it features 700 different fine wines from all over the world in the restaurant’s high tech two-floors wine cellar, which, thanks to its glass wall can be seen by the delighted diners.
