For his debut at London Fashion week’s Spring/Summer 2010 season designer Jeremy Scott did not fall short of his trademark outrageous designs. While a remix of the ‘Flinstones’ theme song blared from the speakers, models including British socialites Daisy Lowe and Pixie Geldof, made their way down the catwalk in a variety of caveman themed outfits. His designs consisted of hot pink camp leather jackets, one piece swimsuits, bustier dresses and frayed shorts. Almost every look was fluorescent in colour and each looked like it had been cut with pre-historic tools. The Spring 2010 show certainly was not the typical ready-to-wear fashion show normally associated with London Fashion Week, but Jeremy Scott once again showed that it’s no wonder that he’s dressed the likes of Madonna, Lil’ Kim, Beth Ditto and Lady GaGa.
